Centralized System
Centralized Customer Information Dashboard Using Zoho Creator

Client Overview
The client was actively using Zoho Books to manage their financial operations, including sales orders (SO), purchase orders (PO), invoices, and customer records. While Zoho Books offered comprehensive functionality, the client faced operational inefficiencies when accessing customer-related information across multiple modules.
Challenges
In the existing setup, the client’s team had to manually navigate through different modules within Zoho Books to view complete details related to a specific customer.
For example:
Customer details were available under the Contacts module.
Related Sales Orders and Invoices were stored separately.
Purchase Orders and Vendor details required additional navigation steps.
This scattered information structure made it difficult and time-consuming for the team to:
Get a 360° view of the customer’s transactions.
Track linked orders and vendor activities.
Make quick business decisions based on consolidated data.
Solution Implemented
To address this challenge, a custom Zoho Creator application was developed to serve as a centralized dashboard for all customer-related information.
The application was designed to:
Fetch and sync data directly from Zoho Books using APIs.
Display all relevant information — such as Customer Name, Sales Orders, Invoices, Purchase Orders, and Vendor details — on a single unified page.
Provide clickable links for each record, enabling users to navigate directly to the corresponding record or module within Zoho Books for deeper insights or edits.
This integration ensured that data remained up-to-date, accurate, and instantly accessible without manual intervention.
Results and Benefits
Single View Dashboard: The client could now access all customer-related data in one place, significantly reducing navigation time.
Improved Productivity: Teams could make faster decisions without switching between modules.
Seamless Navigation: Direct links to Zoho Books records ensured smooth workflow continuity.
Enhanced Data Visibility: The management gained a holistic understanding of customer relationships, financial transactions, and vendor dependencies.
